We were from out of town with a Chrysler T & C with a significant transmission fluid leak on a Saturday. I could not embark on the 1400 mile return trip the next Monday with my family until it it was repaired. Alex Chavez agreed to come into the shop and remove the transmission and diagnose the problem on Sunday. He called me with the diagnosis on Sunday evening and would have the parts Monday morning with it repaired and reinstalled by Monday afternoon, barring any other problems. He even picked us up at the car rental store where we returned our rental car with the Chrysler repaired as promised and on time. His labor time and rate for this work was normal for this service. Our 1400 mile, two day trip was a successful test of the quality of his work. My rating for Sonora Transmission and Auto Service is "SUPERIOR".
