I recently sent my daughter-in-laws 2002 Ford F250 to Sonora Transmission and Auto Repair to have the motor inspected and evaluated. Freddy called within a few days with an evaluation and an estimate to make it all ok. I was impressed and I gave my OK to begin repairs. The truck had a complete motor replacement and it came out amazing and in just two weeks. I was not hustled, lied too, or over charged. Amazing and attentive management, comprehensive shop and equipment, and superior mechanics. The estimate was within a few hundred dollars of the original estimate and I got far more than just a new motor. I say their five star rating is a ten. Thank all of you at Sonora Transmission and Auto Repair; you are an asset to our community.

They were wonderful in getting my Ford Edge back on the road. We ordered a rebuilt transmission directly and had them install it. There were issues with the transmission and warranty parts had to be ordered. They took care of it all. They were always friendly. The pricing was reasonable and we are happily back on the road. Newer Vehicles Generate as Much As 25GB of Data/Hour according to McKinsey.  Now That is Extremely Interesting!  It is also daunting as we now need to know "what data" right?  You also want to know where it is going if anywhere and who owns the data?  All interesting questions that we never thought about.  Just get in and drive, choose a destination and if a light goes off in the dash you call us here at Sonora Transmissions to schedule an appointment.   We want our Sonora drivers to be informed as always and able to make their choices based on having facts.  This is a big change in the automotive-truck service industry and it really has not hit the news at all, so it is up to us to get you up-to-date and informed.  Here are the facts and where you can find more information!

According to CBS News, Ford recently announced a recall that affects over 1.3 million vehicles that are primarily located in North America. The recall was issued mainly due to problems with rear suspension and transmission control software.

Two weeks ago on a blazin hot weekend I brought my Nissan Frontier in because the car was bucking and transmission was slam shifting. You were very busy but checked my fluid and tried to get the irractic problem to repeat. With your assurance that transmission was not burning up, we were able to drive gently back to the Bay Area, much of the way in 3rd gear. You refused to accept any payment or tip though you were a great help. FYI, it was more an engine communication issue. The Nissan dealer found the crankshaft position sensor bad and suspected the cam shaft sensors might be damaged as well. They found the flex plate undamaged. After about $1000 and 2 days, we were fixed - and trouble free since. Thanks so much.
