If you own a Ford vehicle you may be affected by this recall. According to CBS News, Ford recently announced a recall that affects over 1.3 million vehicles that are primarily located in North America. The recall was issued mainly due to problems with rear suspension and transmission control software.

Two weeks ago on a blazin hot weekend I brought my Nissan Frontier in because the car was bucking and transmission was slam shifting. You were very busy but checked my fluid and tried to get the irractic problem to repeat. With your assurance that transmission was not burning up, we were able to drive gently back to the Bay Area, much of the way in 3rd gear. You refused to accept any payment or tip though you were a great help. FYI, it was more an engine communication issue. The Nissan dealer found the crankshaft position sensor bad and suspected the cam shaft sensors might be damaged as well. They found the flex plate undamaged. After about $1000 and 2 days, we were fixed - and trouble free since. Thanks so much.
While preping for a cross country trip, we took our 2002 Dodge Ram2500 in for routine service. We pulled our 5th wheel over 13,000 miles in six months. I felt confident in Mike, Ed and Freddie and all they did prior to our trip. While in Illinois, I encountered a minor issue and was able to call Sonora Transmission for a consultation and was assured all would be fine during the rest our trip. I returned to California and took my truck in for routine maintenance after our long trip through the high desert, northern plains, the Rockies, gulf coast and the Midwest. Got my truck back in way better condition and now we’re on our next adventure to Southern California and Las Vegas without a worry what so ever. Driving up the grapevine after having it serviced, I noticed a tremendous change in pulling power and torque that was not there prior to serving at Sonora Transmission.
